Goose Tracks - Hoopsisters EmbroidaBlock of the Month
This entire quilt is made in your embroidery hoop. It is absolutely exquisite and nothing like the previous years. The technique of combining embroidery with piecing and quilting is extraordinary! We will be meeting once a month for 10 months, starting in August. The first 9 months you will be stitching 4 blocks each month, the last month, we will show you how to put it all together. The Sit & Sew is the 1st Saturday of each month, from 9:30 – 12:30. If you are unable to make it to the Sit & Sew there are 2 demos each month, on the 3rd Wednesday, and 3rd Saturday of the month, from 4:00 – 5:00. Youth Sewing Club Our Youth Sewing Club is for ages 7-14, who have purchased a sewing machine from Sunshine Stitches. The club meets monthly. Participants are invited to attend 1 of 2 scheduled classes. The classes meet on Thursday, from 4:00pm - 6:00pm and Saturday, from 9:30am - 11:30am. (Class times are subject to change) Each month students take home a completed project.
